Default Turbo question for 97 jdm h22a

Hey. i heard many differnt things but dont know what to believe.I have a 97' jdm h22a4 engine in a 93 si. and i have new cams.full exhaust.intake manifold. intake and some lil ****. but i'm interested into dropping a turbo in it. and someone said my engine is not good for turbo. if i did i could only run like 3 pounds of boost and i would have to get it sleeved out. Is this all true? or better to run all motor. id appreciate some help. thanks alot

Hmm, well they were probably saying that because the a4 is open deck, not closed like the other H22's. You can run more than 3, but you will have a higher risk of blowing a hole in the block with an unbuilt motor than closed deck.
