Bazooka sub with any 10" sub
Hi, I was wondering if a 10" kicker sub will fit the bazooka tube, then run wires to a seperate amp. Recently it poped twice and I want to get a better sub for it and better amp, same tube but diffrent sub. thanks
if the tube has a 10" diamator, and the sub you want has a simaler diamtor it will fit. do a little reasearch in to the new sub, and you will find the mounting diamtor, which will tell you if it will fit or not
As a side not: if the tube is ported chances are it will not sound great since the new sub will have difernt paramators, which means it requires a different box. you would be better of making a stealth box.
But to everyone their own...

you could easily find another sub that might fit in there.....however....the new speaker might not "like" it's new enclosure. you might need to build a specific enclosure for the new sub in order for it to sound good. bazooka tubes tend to start farting on you after a certain volume level. bazooka tubes are meant mostly for a little bit of bass in a tight mounting area. if you are looking for boom....get a real enclosure.
