sup yall , i know the rsx has coil packs , but i dont know how to go about hookin up my boys shift light , we got all the wires except the wire your supposed to hook to the "negitive side of the coil" , that would be the green , anybody know where to hook this up at?

 

I hooked one up in my type s. The light should have came with instructions. I think black is ground, green is into the stock tach wire, and white is to a fuse for power. if you are having trouble with it, I will look under my dash for you. Let me know.

 

the directions say to hook it to the negitive side of the ignition coil , but the rsx doesnt have an ignition coil , so you just hooked it to your tach in the guage cluster?

tach signal. open hood. look at battery ground cable. should be a large wiring harness in front of fuse box next to washer fill. taped to the outside of this harness is a blue with silver wire. tach signal wire.
