Alright firstly I have been confused the past week because my car wouldnt go past 3500 rpm when driving or in neutral, so my car is in limp mode. Anyway I couldnt figure out what code was being throw because neither of my ecus have a flasher, and for some reason I dont have the 2 pin jumper. I reset the ecu, tried 2 others and that is not the problem.
Anyway about 10 minutes ago I started the car and was just gonna let it sit and mess around with stuff to get closer to the actual problem. Well then the car turned off on its own and wouldnt start back up. It wont turn over if its life depended on it.

So now I know the part that was almost broken, is completely done for. Does anyone have a suggestion to what part it is that needs replacing?? I have some new plugs/wires and a new dizzy on the way., so hopefully its one of those. But any other suggestions on what I can do to fix this??

 

wont even crank over? thatd prolly be a stater, unless the bottom end is siezed as well

Starter, starter solenoid, dead battery?

Or a siezed motor if the starter's engaging with full power but can't turn it over.

 

The car ran a couple days ago....why would the motor seize?? Like I said though it wouldnt go past 3500, my car was in limp mode. Then today it wouldnt start back up, I started it and it ran for like 45 secs then turned off and wouldnt start up again.

 

can you hear the starter engauge when you turn the key?

did the engine just kinda stall out or did it make any unusual noises that might sounds like a sieze when it shut off

kinda sounds like your ecu is junk

 

Dude I used 2 ecus, a j-k tuning one, and the stock pr3 with the same result. But if I remember (wasnt paying attention, happened random) it was just a stall out, no wierd noises, as if I turned it off myself.

Yeah when I turn the key the starter makes noise.

 

When my car was in limp my dizzy was going bad. When you turn the car before starting it can you hear the fuel pump prime? if not check your main relay. Also check the thermostat ground.
