prices for an alignment
I am in nashville and need to save money badly
I just replaced a tr end and need it set.
I would like to avoid the $80 rates I have found, if possible
anyone know a better price for a good job in TN or GA ?

thanks for the price info it's good to know
PS
I do find myself in NJ at times but an alignment would be something to take care of before i leave.

ok
I was calling around
I found a place that will do it for $39
He says there is only toe adjustment available in the stock crx suspension, which mine is.
Is this true?
I know I will get what I pay for and will probly need to set the steering wheel myself, but, I dont wanna pay a guy to do half the alignment of course.

that is good info
but the 140 is the 3yr
I am playing with that idea if the 39 dollar dude is BS
but at $39 I could get all the aligns I would need in the same period of time for the same prices w/o large upfront cost.
so let me know if the $39 guy is worth dealing with

maybe I answered my own question, but I want to be told if so.
How often do you guys need to get an alignment?
Is a year of free alignments worth the cash
I hope I dont need to set my alignment that often, I dont see the TR end skipping threads.
so whats the verdict guys?

On my cars I make it a habit to bring it in for a free alignment check whenever I feel there may be a problem, or whenever I have done any major suspension work.
Then I keep an eye open for the coupons in the paper for 4 wheel alignment @ $50
You only really need to take your car in if it's tracking funny, the tires are wearing unevenly, you've done suspension modifications (such as tie rods, lowering springs, balljoints etc) or the steering wheel is off center.
Usually my cars experience some form of misalignment problem when springtime rolls around after beating the crap out of them in snowy parking lots all winter. So my cars go in once a year unless ther'es been suspension work done
$140 for 3 years would save me $10 if it's for one vehicle only. If it's for any vehicle registered to me, it would save me $300 over the three years.

It just gives me the piece of mind that every time I take off the front suspension (two or three times a year) and fiddle I can have someone else put it back together.

I am going to get the 37 dollar align
if I do it twice in one yr it's still cheaper than the $90 free for a yr at ntb
7am tomorrow it happens
thanks so much for the input everyone
the reason his price is lower is that he charges by the # of adjustments to be made instead of by the hour
since there is only toe on the stock crx it's cheaper
that makes me worry less that he is not competent.
