It is not the easiest thing to tune. It takes a while to get used to the program and all of its quirks. Once you know how to get around some of its quirks then its easy

Im running hondata right now,but in a week or two im putting on my b16 head, going up alittle psi, and switching over to crome

i put down 460whp on pump gas 93 and 545whp on 110 octane. Would have made more if I didn't have any sealing problems (stretched head bolts). Probably would have made 600whp easy. The 545whp tune was with coolant blowing out the radiator cap. Words of advice: be easy on the ign timing, put good proven performance parts on ur set-up, and go big on the turbo. Also go big on ur fuel system. The only thing that crome is lacking is idle control (who cares). Besides that it just as good as anything else. The person tuning will determine how good it works with your set-up. Of course for the money almost nothing can compare to Crome. My next 700whp set-up will be on crome if I don't go K-series.
crome has idle control...advanced features plug-in. i have been able to get every car i have tuned to have a rock solid, steady idle...i hadnt played with that feature much because i didnt understand it frankly...,.but after lots of research on it, i am able to give a car silky smooth idle.
i have hardly any complaints about cromepro really...well no antilag, no boost control like neptune, but thats really for my own car, not my customers lol...for the average joe who wants something easy, cheap, reliable, cromepro ftw! also pgmfi.org ftw!

Yes crome has issues with ignition timing. Its been proven that with some setups you cannot pull enough timing in crome to ward off detonation. In fact i've found this to be on a few motors where you would pull extreme amounts of timing and past a certain point there would be no power loss and the detonation would still be there. It takes a little bit of trickery to get around this issue

What is this trickery you speak of? Any additional info? Links? I have always just had the dist a few degrees retarded from what the map says to compensate for these issues. Is that what you like to do also?
Anyway we made 357whp and 324wtq on a bone stock LS with E85 on crome. It takes a little getting used but you can get it to run and idle like a champ even with 1000cc injectors. It is all about the injector battery offset.
Also to the person who is switching from Hondata to Crome. If your local tuners can use Crome, I can guarantee they can use Hondata no problem.

i made 366whp on 10 psi on crome pro tuned by me. im gonna turn the boost up and push 400+ on the stock sleeves.
Crome is good for tuning cars in the 600 to 700+ WHP. u can probably make more HP if u have the right setup and if u run 1600cc + injector driver+ 5 Bar.
on a side note, i've made 600+ whp on uberdata on a customers car. i will be switching over to CROME on this car and will most likely be making 650+ whp w/ more boost
