Default MAP Check Valves

So I was out looking for the check valves everyone puts in their MAP sensor vacuum line. I know the commonly used is a T valve but this is all I could find...

It allows air to pass through one way, but not the other. I hooked it up to a vacuum line to my boost gauge, I'm going to test it tomorrow with a vacuum pump, I sucked on the line and managed to pull it down to 5 vacuum, and when blowing on it never hit positive pressure.

Does anyone think this type of check valve will work??

I heard that anything above 2psi and the ECU would throw a CEL for the MAP sensor. I only plan on running 8psi once fully tuned, right now around 5 psi AFC tuned.

The kit isn't on the car yet, just trying to make all the nesscary steps to get it all in the car and functional in one day.

Ive seen people use the tetra one way valves before and it work with no problems, try a pet store in the fish department.

Im not sure about those working or not, i know the tetra ones work though, you just put like three of them inline before the map and they will bleed off the boost before the map see's it

Is the valve you're speaking of a T shape or just an inline like I have in the picture?

Also, can anyone enlighten me as to how the T valve should be installed? like direction of flow... a picture or diagram would be great.

those check valves will work as long as they let air ESCAPE, put dont allow anything IN. So you can blow out air no problem, but can not suck any air in. If it does that, you are good as gold. Run 3 to make sure it vents quick enough.
