Hey all just wondering if a dual point computer can be tuned or what other computers would work to gimme a lil more power as i have to leave my car dual point as it is for the race track and must remain stock, like i have a pm5 and pm9 computers right now jsut wondering if any other ones would be better. also i need a REALLY high rev limiter
There is no point in chipping or modifying a computer to raise the redline of the engine has not been modified to accept a higher redline.
If you chip your ecu to raise the rev limiter, and go revving the **** outta your motor, then you'll probably blow it up because the valve train and rods are not designed to rev that high.

If you're running with strict guidelines like those switch up to a different car equipped with an MPFI system stock like a PM6 CRX si or whatever. Why are you racing with a DPFI system??? I'm just curious. Even if you could tune a DPFI system it wouldn't have anywhere near the precision tunability that an MPFI system would.
i love when people ask about setting their rev limiter REALLY high.. then i can refer to my favorite thread ever on HT... https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1277826
