help a NC

Default help a NC

I tryed to crank my b16 today for the first time and it didnt crank...there is a wierd noise comming from under the steering wheel at the fuse box...I think....thats just when I touch the positive to the battery it starts that noise....also my battery is relocated to the back

Some one from NC or any where can you please come help me get it started....will lend some money if I have to

the noise seems like its coming from your main relay...look up the main relay section in your service manual....and check your grounds.

ok i found out what the noise was...fixed that but I got it to crank today but I have an exhaust leak between the cat and the header...also some of the vaccum lines are messed up and I am throwing code 4 ckp sensor...how do I fix that and I am also idling real high

check the PCV valve on your intake manifold...mine was cracked and the cars idle would sky rocket...other then that your idle could be caused by the vacumm lines being messed up or a leak somewhere

will check and I do have a leak between my header and cat...but all my vaccum lines are right except one

any more suggestions?

The leak between the header and the cat is nothing to worry about. Sure it will sound like ***, but it's not going to effect the motor.

i have a vaccum hose running from one dash pot to the other...I think that is what is making it idle high... I will have pics tomorrow
