Default spoon transmission

Does anyone know who might have a spoon trans in stock .I need a trans as soon as possible I work at an acura dealer ,and itr transmission wont be off back order until sept.

sad news for the spoon tranny fans, that transmission has been discontinued, there might be some laying around, but they won't sell anymore brand new

yeah, my car was down for two months as well because i was waiting for either a spoon or type r tranny, i had to settle for a used jdm type r tranny

I can't believe you guys are actually willing to pay the extra $500 for an ITR tranny just because spoon measured the clearances of it, anyone can do that. Jesus, this buying something just for the name crap is ridiculous. IMO save yourself the cash and pick up an ITR tranny. Its pretty easy to find a clean one for cheap, I know someone on hybrid has a new CTR tranny (offered it to me when I was looking for a tranny) I believe he wants $1350 plus shipping.

The good thing about it is, it's actually cheaper than buying a new tranny from Honda. It's just a 4.785 tranny that they buy in bulk so that they can sell cheaper.

So, actually wanting a Spoon tranny is legitimate.
