Default Stripped bolt thread on crankshaft! What to do?

I decided to post this here since most of metal/machining is dealt with here.

A bolt thread hole on my crackshaft stripped The bolt also is stripped. Can a normal machine shop fix this? What will it cost around if it's fixable?

It's the thread for the flywheel bolt on the crankshaft.

The bolt itself is stripped too.

The bolt is not the problem. You can get a new one of those. The threads in the bolt hole is your issue.

I don't want to take the chance of doing in myself. There is meat on it.

My question is can a machine shop salvage it.

A machine shop can do almost anything.

It would probably be easiest to just take it to a machine shop and ask them. Any good machine shop should be able to tell you if they will be able to fix it for you, just by looking at the damaged hole. It's always easier to answer questions like this by actually seeing the problem. I'm sure if you called a machine shop they would tell you the same thing..."well we will probably need to see the damaged hole to be able to give you a definite answer."
