None to date that anyone one Honda-Tech has heard of I believe.

When installed properly, the BSQ and Beaks kit provide more than enough cross member support for the bar to prevent any subframe tear out.

I just put my ITR bar on yesterday with the BSQ kit, and it works great.

never heard of any issues....at least with the bsq kit. only thing ive heard is that it is the best "bang for the buck" suspension mod...maybe the best in general (competing with AEM CAI)

Been running mine for almost 2 years now with the BSQ kit...NOT A PROBLEM...knock on wood

It does wonders...the only other suspension mod I made that would compare before and after rides is my Quaife! I love the R sway bar.

I have the beaks kit and I like it better only because it reinforces both sides of the subfram. It is a little more but this is the one I wanted. He help and customer support was outstanding!

I don't see the installation instructions in his website. Do you need to drill on the top and bottom holes, and also, how is the fitment?

I had the BSQ kit on my car with the 22mm ITR bar and put it through 30+ autocrosses (8 on R compund tires) and not a single sign of tear out. I just switched to a 23mm ITR bar and BSQ kit but I have yet to test it.

You use an existing hole for the top bolt and drill out a hole for the bottom bolt. It is a fairly easy install. I also chose the Beaks over the BSQ because it contacts the subframe on both sides and offers more surface area to distribute the load over.
Plus, those are really purdy anodized aluminum parts.

The Skunk2 arms are longer and are meant to be used with those D-bracket risers. If you remove the risers and attach the bar close to the frame with the BSQ or Beaks kit, your endlinks are going to be off at a pretty sharp angle. You need to find some other way to reinforce the Skunk2 bar.

People with 5g Civics usually pick the Beaks kit because they don't have the nuts welded into the subframe (which would have to be chiseled off) and they don't have the ABS sensor wire getting in the way. People with 3g Integras tend to pick the BSQ kit because they only have to whack off one nut.

hahahaa. you mean, one nut on each side right?
What about the high nut? Do you need to whack that off too for the beaks kit to fit?

There are 3 tack welded nuts on the inside of the subframe that need to be removed and the only hole that needs to be drilled (enlarged rather) is the small one on the bottom. I used a 5/16 bit (if I remember correctly) and it took about 1/2 sec to drill the hole a little larger. The fitment was almost perfect. I say almost because there is a very small portion at the bottom of the subframe that is bowed out and when I tightened the brackets and the reinforcement plates it smashed that very small part. Not a problem at all and if you were not looking for it you probably would never notice that it happened. Overall Beaks Products are outstanding as is his customer service (via e-mail). I am sure the BSQ kit is fine also but I liked Beaks better because of the reinforcement plates on both the inside and backside of the subframe. IMO it is better/stronger. http://www.beaksproducts.com/main.html

So the upper part is reinforced also? Did you have to chisel off the upper nut?

Yes, all 3 nuts on both sides have to be removed. 6 total nut removals.

You should be able to use the Skunk2 rear swaybar with my BSQ Type-R rear swaybar mounting/reinforcement kit. You will also need the Type-R swaybar bushings and bushing brackets. Let me know if you have any other questions.
