Who's running Azenis on 16" rims???
Hey guys, I am really wanting to get a set for my 16" rims, but apparently Falken only makes them in 215-45-16 for my rims... Am I gonna rub? People keep saying I will, but my car isn't that low!! Help! Who's running them, and how low is your drop? Do you rub?!
Depends how low your cars is and your wheel offset. I have 225/45/16 PZeros (and the Azeniz by all accounts are effectively 225/40/16) with 50mm offset wheels and a 3/4" drop and have only a little rubbing at full lock.
Well I'm rolling on some Sp00ns, and I wanna say they are +43 offset.. I'm having a bit of a mental block, so I can't remember.
Been there, done that...MF-10's, +43mm offset, 215-45/16, very, very slight rub under full braking and turning...stock suspension.

I have a 16" +45 offset with the car lowered 7/8in F, 3/4in R. There is slight rubbing at full lock. So far the rear is fine, but if you are lowered 1.3in, you may rub on the rear outer fender lip. Its going to be real close, but if your spring rates are high enough, it may not matter!!!
I don't have an R, but I have 16" Volk SE37K +42mm offset with 225/45R16 Bridgestone S-03s on the front of my GSR sedan (the rears are 205/50R16 S-03s), they was some slight rubbing at full lock. My car is dropped about 1.5"-1.75" with TEIN TypeHA. On the rear, I had to remove the black rubber strip to avoid rubbing (even with 205/50R16).
i ran azenis on rota c8's which is a +42? offset in my gsr with ZEAL B2's. not sure how low it was dropped but it only rubbed under full lock and a little bit under hard turning.
here's a pic of how low the car is.
no more of that though. im on 15's again

I'm running 16" Volk TE-37's (+42 offset) on 215/45/16 Falken Azenis. My car is lowered approximately 1.75" and the front wheels will rub the inner plastic splash shield only at full lock, nothing serious. Here are some pictures of the wheels/tires/drop to give you an idea what it looks like:

They are more of a metallic gloss black. They had to be special ordered from Japan and took 3 months to get to me. Glad you like them.
i have the spoonies with 215-45-16 Azs and I have a rub in the back under a hard high speed turn. Also at full lock I rub a little. No drop stock susp just spoons and the Az.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention ---> I had to roll the inside of my rear fenders due to the rubbing. Doh!
to me. Must have slipped my mind earlier.

I just got the 215/45/16 Azenis for my 16x7 Volk TE-37's (+42 I think) and with a stock suspension and fenders they will rub a little but it's not bad. In fact, they didn't rub at all until I got the car on the track at Sebring last weekend. I'm going to get the fenders rolled and they should be fine.
Your car is amazing! Needs a 98+ frontend with ITR lip
What exhaust is that?
