ZX300.1 Kicker Amp what sub to get
What Kicker subwoofer can I get that will sound good with this amp? Also it needs a 2 ohm or 4 ohm? Also I have a 2 subwoofer enclosure 10". I i will bridge
The Kicker ZX300.1 is 1x300W RMS into 2 ohms, so if you want 2 subs, find two 150W 4 ohm subs, like the Kicker ES104, [150W continuous 4 ohm 10" sub.
There are many other brands that have 150W 4 ohm 10" subs.

Get to 10" SOLOBERIC L2 for the two openings. You won't regret it, trust me.
I've had many and heard many and I think the Kicker Soloberic are the best in my opinion.

The OP has 300W into 2 ohms to work with, how the hell is he going to properly drive even 2 L5s, 900W continuous?

i dont think the L7's are newer just more powerful , 600 watts vs 450 i think.
Either way, two of these will match perfectly...
-Kicker C104 (couldnt find the ES104 or 154 like mentioned earilier) http://www.cardomain.com/item/KIC07C104

I have the C104 subs already. But after 25 on the volume, it doesnt wanna hit any harder. What can be the problem? Can it be the cheap wiring? I got some cheap wires with it. Was thinking of getting 8 Gauge Kicker wiring.
First off, IMO running two subs off 300 watts isnt going to get you hard hits if thats what your looking for.
You could start by making sure the gain is set correctly on the amp and headunit is tuned right for low frequencies, and u could also play around with teh direction the subs are firing in. As far as wiring goes, from what i've seen 8 awg wire from kicker isnt any better than 8 awg wire from a hardware store or ebay. Also make sure its grounded nicely with a short wire (<18").
Otherwise save up the money and get a more powerful amp and some subs to boot.

I think if I upgrade my wires it will help, because right now after 25 on the deck, the subs sound the same even if i go to 30, it will sound like 25...

Although both are good subs, a pr. of 10" of either set are not appropriate for the amp that the OP has, Kicker ZX300.1, 1x150W RMS into 4 ohms and 1x300W RMS into 2 ohms, even a pr. of S10L5s is 900W continuous, hardly a perfect match.
