hey guys, i came across a good deal on a Greddy EVO exhaust. but i always had my eye set towards a brand new catback of the WorldSport2 because i've listening to it before and it was sooooo damn quiet that it doesn't even go loud until you rip vtec and anything cruising under 4k rpm, you can pretty much talk inside the car with a gentle voice.

i've never heard of the Greddy EVO catback noise, so whoever did, how is the noise level? comparable to the WS2? if louder, by how much? try to think of a describing example. such as, were you able to listen to the person talking while its at 4k rpm? did any rear seat passenger complaint of unable to hear that music even if its set to loud? was someone able to hear it in a house when you're revving on the driveway? something like that would do the job.

the evo and ws2 are totally different in terms of noise, the ws2 sounds stock while the evo is quite loud, although not to the point where it drowns out music, but definately much louder than the ws2. look for the exhaust thread, there are some samples i think.

 

The Evo 1 is louder than the Evo 2. I have the Evo one, and it was pretty loud, even with 2.25", now I have 2.5", and im curious.

Heres an old soundclip of my evo 1. I had some minor problems with my valve guides / piston rings, so it was always blowing oil out the back at higher RPM's.
