Default ls crank in b16?

I was wondering if it possible to put a ls crank into a b16 block...I know the ls has a 95mm stroke and I don't know if its too much for the block.

Thanks

The ls has an 89mm stroke.....

Yes, you can use the ls crank in the b16 block. You are going to need custom pistons or rods tho.

the only oem crank/rod combo that drops in the b16 is the b17 from a 92-93 gsr.

yeah bro...you would notice a difference....

It's pretty nice differance from a reg b16...
I don't remember but when you do a LS crank on a b16 it's pretty much similar to a gsr if not better...but like i said i don't remember...and ofcourse if you got better pistons...and rods....bigger diff...

before i picked up a b18a for cheap i was gonna do the same build....
since i already had aftermarket pistons w/ stock wrist pin locations i was gonna have to run a custom shorter rod...and my R/S ratio was gonna be 1.44
i was told by other members that ideally a custom piston w/ wristpins moved up 6mm and stock b16 length rods was a better choice....however i was also told that custom pistons w/ raised wristpins would give me leakdown/ oil consumption problems since the new wristpin location conflicted with the oil ring location....rocket said the only pistons hes seen that had no leakdown issues with a raised wristpin were 84mm+....if you already got the block and want to build it, its definitely possible, but expensive....
id still like to build this motor in the future, but for the time being its easier for me to work with a B18a

if you were to use the b17 crank you would still need to run b17 rods.
