I had the ITR engine oil running low in less than 2 months of oil change...last time there were leaks from oil and cams seal so got that replaced and taken care of...now it's not too bad but i'm suspicious there may be other leaks or burning oil?? I got new JDM pistons in there about 5 months ago...any suggestion what to look for?

 

if you don't see any leaks outside the engine (oil pan, headgasket, valve cover, oil filter, stock pressure sensor or anywhere oil can run out) then its getting inside combustion chamber.

how much oil do you loose in between oil change or in that 2 month period?
how many miles driven during that time?

 

jus daily driving and i probably added in a litre of oil with less than 3k between those two months for sure...no oil leak anywhere visible or on the ground in my garage. I had Mugen catback in my ITR and the smoke stinks but no different in colour though.

 

One quart/liter of oil consumed in 2-3K miles is common.
