Default Concerned after installing Injen CAI?

ok so yesterday i installed the intake and thought that it was going to be a lot smoother install but it wasnt. alot of **** had to come out but that is ok. what concerns me is where you have to cut so much of the wheel well guard for the neck to make that turn. doesn't that open up the cone to more water , not puddles i mean spray when it rains? overall should i not be worried about water spray or is that not so serious?

you shouldnt be worried about water spray....eventually it will evaporate and do no damamge..and i doubt it will go pass the filter.

i don't know about you but i didn't have to cut a lot of the splash guard to get the cai to fit. and the part i did cut, the intake tubing covers almost all of it so i don't see how water would splash would get to my filter.

dont worry about it.

i've driven cai's in the rain for the past several years even without a splash guard. not safe.... but not dangerous either.
