Well I ordered an oem JDM front end and I am curious to know what exact hood latch and cable I will need. I am pretty sure that is all I will need except what the kit includes right? Any help would be greatlly appreciated. I also have one other favor to ask. I cannot find a picture of a PY ITR with the JDM front end with the stock hood, stock lower lip and a set of spoon sw388 wheels. If someone can help on either topic that would be great. Thanks in advance.

 

for some reason when i bought my front....the hood cable was long enough....you might need a honda accord one tho.....the only part of the front that a lot of places forget is the bumper bracket. It is a black piece of metal that the bumper bolts onto...it is also the piece that the grill clips on to... make sure they don't for get that piece...or else you gotta wait...

 

Thank you for your advice. I work in the auto body industry so I shouldn't have a problem with fitament. I will try to re-use my existing cable.

if you cant get it to work find a 92 integra cable, i heard thats what works. good luck

 

So what parts do you need? Just a hood latch cable?

 

Yup, hood latch and cable.. Oh and just FYI, your link for R&D Motorsports in your signature doesn't work... you need to finish it with ".com/"

 

I used the stock hood latch with a cable out of an accord. The only other parts I needed was bulbs and that was it.
