Default Just ordered..

Hi all, im new to this forum and hondas, i bought my Si 3 months ago and did only 800 miles so far. I just ordered apex n1 and injen cai. Since i never worked with hondas are they gonna be easy to install by myself, and is there any hp difference?

yes. basic bolt ons. and yes you will feel a difference in power. use the search function on the top right and search around this forum. there are plenty of threads that cover power gains and what not. welcome to the board.

never ordered from z1 myself but they seem to me like a very good place to order. as long as you have the proper tools, you can install the cai and exhaust with no problem.

if i were you, id spend the 1200 on better parts, that race header may be good now but in another 6-8 months there will be a cheaper product out with the same results from someone else.

Basically, take the negative terminal off the battery for a few minutes or pull the ECU fuse. This will let the ECU 'know' about the CAI and exhaust to adjust fuel/air accordingly.

you dont have to do that.. when your done with the install, just turn the car on and let it idle for a few min.. it relearns itself...
