94 was the first year of the Vtec Accord in north america I believe. So I doubt that he has an F22B1.
I'm willing to bet its an an F22A1, or F22A6 depending on trim level of the car.

the only engines that were stock in the 90-93 Accords were the F22A1, F22A4 and F22A6 which were all 2.2L SOHC non-VTEC.

to know what motor you have you need to post the trim level.

The F22B1 (2.2L SOHC VTEC) and F22B2 (2.2L SOHC non-VTEC) motors were stock on the 94-97 Accords.
