A local guy is selling an EG Sunroof visor with all the mounting hardware. I was wondering if this will fit on an EF?
The sure do look the same but I wanna make sure before I buy.

Any help is appreciated

You guys are way too helpful.
Anyway, I bought the visor/wind deflector and it lined up fine BUT the hardware bolts weren't long enough for the hooks. I got to longer bolt replacements and it fit perfectly.
Now I am in the market for some aftermarket door visors and there is no way I am paying over $100 for visors. I remember a company specifically making some visors for the CRX guys here but I never paid of my balance with the vendor(sent in a deposit).
I just ordered a set from an ebay vendor and I like the way these look. Once I get them on my car I will post them up. Here is what they look like on a vendor model.

God I hate being a guinea pig but I guess if I don't do it then nobody will

Ok, I got my visors in the mail and they look great! Way better than the ones they sell at auto parts stores but I ran into a small problem(I've contacted the vendor to see what can be done).
The visors line up perfectly BUT the 90-91 door sashes are too fat. These look like they are meant for the 88 models(pillar mounted belts).
I circled the problem area in red

here are the pics up close.

Now correct me if I am wrong but the oem visors do not overlap the door sash right?

jessecrx,
Yeah those are definately for the 89 doors. The doors are a little bit different. I bought a set of the JDM visors but they didn't fit on my 91 h/b either. They fit perfect on my buddies 89 so I sold them to him.

JesseCRX,
Can you get a refund? Autoventshade/ventvisors have ones that fit perfect. You know the same brand as you can get at your local auto parts store. I had them on my 91 h/b they were nice. I wish I had a picture.

I saw those auto ventshade visors for the EF and they are too rounded. I liked the look of these.
I had to heat and mold the sash end of the visor to get it to fit. It's still not 100% but very very close and they function perfectly. It's rained twice and no leaks yet
Here are a couple of shots with the roof/door visors

I am willing to bet you could buy a new EP3 sunroof visor and it will fit. You just need longer bolts(stainless steel to prevent rust)and these can be bought at any hardware store.
JesseCrx,
Visors Look good! I was thining the same thing about the sunroof visors. Either from an EP or the newer civics coupes & sedans also have a nice sunroof visor as an option.

I am gonna pass by my local dealer and see for myself. I am sure they'll let me test fit it.

Dude, if you have an 88 I definitely recommend them. I asked the vendor if he would change the label from 88-91 to just 88 and he said that this is how they come labeled from his supplier. He swears up and down that they should fit my car and that I am not mounting them right but I know I am lining them up right.
If by chance the 3m tape that these come with starts to fail where should I buy replacement tape? And what particular grade?
