Gagues all messed up....
OK so here is the deal the kid I bought my car had these nasty gauge lay overs on that weren't wired correctly cause they changed colors when there was a spike in power or a drain in power. Anywhoo while taking them off I noticed that when I put the cluster back in that my tach says I am idling at 3000rpm, ( i was like wtf ya right) and my temp gauge says I am on fire. So i figure that it is probably something if I take it off again and tweak the needles I can fix but I wanted to see if anyone has had this happen to them before. Or if I am SOL and have to buy a new cluster. I hope it isnt the latter. Thanks
I'm no expert by any means, but maybe you have bad sensor, or you missed something when hooking up the cluster. I took mine out before and my needles are off balance, but nothign happened to my temp guage. I would say take it out and make sure it's all hooked up right then if not you may need a new cluster like I do.Good luck
ya I took them out and checked them and everything is connected but that doesnt mean its working right. This weekend I will take them apart again and see. Thanks
