Running to rich how should i fix it or lean it out a little bit?

Running to rich how should i fix it or lean it out a little bit?

IS it the best idea to retard my timing or advance my timing? for it to not run so rich. Or is it best to make my spark plug GAP bigger? whats the furthers gas spc. on a LS motor. i set mine to .036 i think thats the smallest. does any one know what is the furthers GAP? is it .044?

How do you know your running rich? If its a stock motor run a P75 ecu. If its a built motor go get it tuned.

i rebuilt half of it i put the head gasket in it but i got it to not smoke any more so its all good.
