What bolts for Tilton flywheel
I got the 6lb twin disk setup and went to install it today and the stock b series flywheel bolts are to long. Called tilton and he told me to grind them down (ghetto as hell) I told him no way I was going to do that. Then he asked someone and the other guy said D series bolts will work. So is this true? What are you guys using?
Measure yours and I'll measure mine
I have more than a bunch of them laying around, I'll go measure them right now & let you know.
edit: M12x1.00, 20mm long for d-series flywheel bolts.

The ones I have are 29.2mm long. that is measuring the whole bolt from the very end to the very end, not just the threaded part.
not sure if you found out yet... but the D series bolts are shorter and thats the one you'll need. Dont forget to grind down the bolts on the pressure plate and you might need to shave a little bit from the clutch release bearing... i think thats what its called...
Ya, I used the d series bolts for the flywheel. And I fliped the PP bolts around the other way and they cleared fine. You would think they would tell you in the directions about that.
