Default New Seat rails for my Recaro SRD's ... Recaro or Bride?

Hey Everyone,

Did some searching, didn't find what I was looking for.

I've recently bought a set of brand new USDM Recaro SRD's for my R, and I'm looking for rails. So far, my options are the Recaro rails (with or without height adjustment), or the Bride Super Low rails (Not LoMax), type RO I believe. These are what I can get at my local shop.

Now, I didn't mind stock seat height that much. It was a good position for me considering I'm 5"10 and 145 lbs. I was wondering what everyone's opinion on the Bride rails / SRD combo is like considering it's supposed to be 2" lower than stock. How does the overall driving position change? Is it awkward at all?

And lastly, how much of a height difference are the stock ITR seats compared to the JDM Recaro SRD's with Recaro Rails?

Thanks,

Ryan.

We're pretty much the same height/weight.

User "Saga" on the board has a JDM Recaro but with a set of Vision super lows and imo, they are ideal.

The difference isn't much in terms of drastically affecting vision or overall adjustability (just lower the steering wheel a bit)

I personally like sitting lower in the car and would always opt for the lowest seat rail option.

Go for it

The stock JDM Recaro rail should be adequate for you.

I just put my Recaro Speeds into my DC2.

I went with the Sparco (MFG by Speedware Motorsports) brackets, and Recaro sliders. Perfect fitment and great height.
