I have a jl audio 10w6v2 with a 500/1 jl amp...I want to re-wire my whole car...what size/brand wire should i go with? or what type of wiring kit would be best?

no, i have a sub and all already...i just want to upgrade my wiring...(last minute weekend thing and got walmart wires and stuff)...

^^^^^^^ x100 both of those kits are great. But I have to lean towards metra, lol. I sell more of them, lol. But the streetwire is owned 50% by mtx.

monster cable FTW!!!
either monster cable or JL audio wiring is nice.
they are a little more expensive but worth it.
stay away from Raptor wiring!!!
it says on the packaging that it's a 0 gauge kit ...but in actuality...it's 2 gauge inside of 0 gauge insulation! pretty much all of their wiring is like this including speaker wires and RCAs.
the thicker the wire the better is usually the rule of thumb. if your amps installation instructions call for 8 gauge then run a 4 gauge with a distribution block so if you wish to add another amp later you can without taking the car apart again.
also make sure to match your power and ground wires in size. don't feed the amp a 4 gauge power with an 8 gauge ground. for the JL Audio 500/1 it calls for 4 gauge power and ground.
