alright so i have a 89 crx with a b18a1 turbo and its fitted with an eg half rad. there is some lean to the rad but other then that its fine. it is secure and doesnt move. i have a problem that when i romp on it and shut it off it boils over, the temp gauge never goes above half and i have an electric fan on it all the time. ive bled and refilled the system everytime after it boils over, afterwards left the cap off and let the air bubbles come out yet i still have this problem. any ideas?

have you tried a new cap yet?

is your overflow tank filling up at all when this happens?

 

its filling a little bit, havent tried a new cap but my cap does feel rather mushy. also after its done boiling over all the fluid that went into my overflow is gone... so there isnt THAT much. idk i hope the cap works. any other possibilities?

 

the coolant system is pressurized. with a faulty cap, this cannot be achieved.
Are you saying its coming out through the cap?
