problem with fluidyne cap?
I have a fludiyne radiator installed and there seems to be a problem with the cap and reservoir. When I fill the radiator the car runs fine, but I think that once I've run it once and the water expands into the reservoir it doesn't suck it back up when it cools. Instead it picks up a big air bubble so that the next time I drive it, it starts to overheat when I'm stopped. Has anyone else had a similar problem with the cap that fluidyne includes? I wouldn't mine putting the OEM one back on but it doesn't fit. Or perhaps some one has other suggestions or maybe it is some other problem.
thanks

Did you bleed the system, or just fill it up and go? You have to bleed the system through the bleeder valve (then close valve when no more bubbles come out) and run in with the cap at the halfway notch till the fan comes on, then tighten cap.

Re: problem with fluidyne cap? (TeknoJunki)
bleed all the air out by keeping the cap off, turn on car, turn on heater at highest heat for few seconds. dont stand my the radiator though, i got splashed once and im glad the radiator fluid wasnt hot.
