hey i was wondering if you guys know what might be causing this problem. All my lights in the gauge cluster work except the gas light or CEL. My car seems like its having a rough idle and it stutters some times at the beginning of accelerating in each gear. after doing some research, it may be my iacv, but im not sure because apparently (according to autozone people) checking for thrown codes only works if the CEL is on. i know the CEL doesnt work because it doesnt even come on like it should when you first start the car. Any ideas guys?

 

oh and the car is also running rich. could i still get the ecu checked for thrown codes even without the light being on?
