in the oil pump, how much pressure is usually sent though? 10 psi? 20?
ive heard the pressure increases in incaments of 10psi for every 1000rpm can anyone verify this?
if so the oil pump would have to sustain 80psi + in some cases correct?

 

My oil pressure gauge read near 90-100 psi right after startup during the winter in my old 99 Civic.
