You can't use a d17 ECU thats for a D series go figure, and obd2.
You can use a pr3 and they arn't hard to find on ebay or the marketplace.
Also if you wire up to obd1 best is a chipped p28.
This could have been searched for and it's in the FAQ, please use them instead next time.
