Default wich ecu to use?

im putting a b16a1 first gen, with obd1 gsr distributor and injectors. can i use a p72 ecu, and how do i wire the vtec and knock sensor. do i wire it up like a b16 or gsr. any input would we appreciated.

Yes, a P72 will work, but vtec engagement is extremely early for a B16. The difference between the B16 and GSR ECU's are pretty much the same, with exception of the IAB's which the B16 does not have..

knock sensor is pretty much the only wire you will need to add to the wiring.

As mentioned you can use the P72, but a better choice would be a chipped P28 (use yours if you still have it) or a P30.
