Sry for lazy question, but how much does it cost to turbo on average. Probley doing a B18b1 or B18c1
Right now I am debating with people on bimmerforums.com whether or not I should buy a Honda and turbo it this summer or I should turbo my 328i.... I don't think they consider that I am a college student with a budget.
So what do you think. Does around 6,000 sound like enough to buy a stock Honda (either EG/EK Civic or Integra) and then do a turbo setup on it and then suspension, tranny, tires, aesthetics, ect.
All work would be done by me of course.
Right now, I am looking at kits for my BMW and they are in the 6-8k range. Probley not going to turbo the Bimmer sadly... but I am also excited to possibly get my first Honda and start my first turbo project.

I'd just say screw the budget talk and start buying crap. Keep buying crap for the Honda until your finally finished. It may take you 6-8 months or it may take you 2+ years like me..either way you can't talk about how much it will cost, you have to just do it.

Depends how much you can get the car for and what you're willing to boost. IE are you ok with boosting a D16 and making 200whp - 250whp or do you want to go Bseries and make more. Are you staying stock block or are you building the block. Are you buying used parts or are you buying new parts. Are you going big or are you going mediocre.
It could cost you anywhere from 5K to 10K+, it all depnds what you want out of the entire car.
