I have N1 type R coilovers I want to put on my 99 si the rear is diffrent what can I do to make them fit? any help is good.

Your best bet is to sell it, cause the ITR LCA's will not work, and the CTR's LCA's are the same as the Civic Si's

If ur N1 coilover is meant for the Integra Type R, it is NOT possible for u to install it... The rear LCA is completely different from any 96 and up Civic LCA... If u thought of changing to the ITR LCA, forget about it... The any Integra and 92-95 Civic is the same lenth which makes it interchangable... The 96-00 Civic LCA is longer then the LCA from the rest of the Honda family... Hope this helps...

Best bet is to sell it as someone has told u to do so... Unless u bought it brand new from a shop, ask for an exchange...

 

i agree with what everybody else has already said... and that is you wont be able to use them on your si.

however i do recall someone on this board being able to put itr rear shocks and rear lca's on their 96-00 civic. i have been trying to find that thread for the longest time now, without any luck.

so i will just say sell it

 

I think I read something like that a while ago, and if I can remember, the guy swapped the subframe with a 92-95 Civic subframe. If I'm wrong then , but if I'm right, it's still not worth it.

 

I bought the 99spec apexi N1 coilover from a friend after being used for five months he sold his type R. I did not do the reaserch but I took someones word for it that they fit but its all good I am sure someone will want to buy them I will post them with pictures later. thanks for the help
