Default Can I get rid of the IACV w/ itbs and crome?

Iam doing an all motor d16 build and will be running itbs and crome, I also want to get rid of as many things as possible to keep the engine bay less cluttered and less compicated to fab up the itbs. I was wondering I think I saw an IACV controller function when my brother was working on my turbo crx w/ crome. Would the car be any less reliable without the iacv? It will pretty much be a weekend car; but, I still don't want to have to mess with it too much
