Default sluggish acceleration

It isn't real bad, but say im in 2nd gear at 2,000 revs. I'm completely in gear with my foot off the clutch and i put the pedal to the medal, it accelerates sluggishly and kinda lags. It's like I did a bad gear change and the car shakes. It doesn't seem to be as bad at higher RPMs but I noticed it even happens at 2,500 revs sometimes. I was kinda thinking that at even 2,000, i shouldn't have any problems.

What's the source of the problem? Is it the throttle body?

Is your timing set right? Have you done any routine maintainence lately? Plugs, rotor and cap, fuel filter.....etc.

everyone says that it could be the fuel filter and routine stuff...but Im having the same problem and its the throttle body....just my two cents.

replaced it with a buddy's TB and worked FINE....buying a edelbrock with a skunk2 intake manifold.

Good luck
