Those of you running LC-1 New logworks update w/datalogging!!!
Looks like innovate has given us the ability to datalog through the newly updated logworks 2
Hi,
Just a heads-up:
We've just completed a plugin for Logworks2 that allows you to datalog concurrently into LogWorks from the Honda ECUs (just like Crome and Freelog) concurrently and synchronized with all innovate motorsports devices. It will be on our website at http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/support.php probably Monday or Tuesday available for free download.
The Honda plugin works similarly to the plugins we already have for MUT and SSM over OBDII for Subaru and Evos, and the plugins we also have for XEDE and Megasquirt.
The plugins and LogWorks are free downloads. The only caveat is that you will need 2 serial ports or USB serial adapters. One for the ECU, and one for the innovate MTS devices. Also, LogWorks will only work if at least one innovate device is connected and provides data, as the innovate devices are the data timing and synchronisation source.
I will start a separate thread when the plugin is available for download.
Regards,
Klaus

the newly updated logworks will allow you to log through their software (just like crome, uberdata, freelog, ecucontrol) to log rpm, fuel, map, etc. So instead of crome or ecucontrol logging, your ecu will be read through logworks for a more accurate and precise reading.
I would highly recommend viewing the original post in pgmfi.org
So yes you should be able to log without the rpm converter, as long as you have a innovate product running via usb

This is bad ***! I just picked up an Innovate TC-4 along with the LM-1 and LMA-3 that I already own. Now if you guys could come up with a way to import gps based lap times from other products or make your own lap timer I'd be set.

We're working on that for the DL-32. It's not so easy to just use a GPS receiver hooked to a laptop because the update rate of most GPS devices is just too slow for track mapping. Instead in the DL-32 we will have a lap timer (infrared beacon based, 1msec resolution), possibly with splits from other beacons and GPS input. Together with the internal accelerometers of the DL-32 (in this application sampled internally at 100 Hz) the GPS data can be interpolated between sampling points from the accelerometers.
