Default building a cage out of pcv

since my car is not drive-able right now and wont be for a while.... I dont want to pay a tow truck to tow my car to a shop.. If i built it out of pcv, mock everything up and have a shop basically build it for me out of chromoly... Would that work

Yep. About 20 measurements is what you need. Making a cage out of plastic is a total waste of time.

I'd say mock it up out of some thin copper tubing from Home Depot that you can bend. PVC will get expensive if you're buying a lot of bends, plus there aren't a lot of bend options available.

Either that or post on your local forums for someone with a trailer willing to drag it around a couple of times for some $$ + beer.
