Default Key/Ignition barrel swap question

ok so assuming all goes well and i pick up this donor ef...

i will be swapping both doors and locks over to mine. can i also just swap over the ignition/key barrel into mine since mines fubar and just use the keys from the donor car? i dont see why not but i figure its better to ask first.

also is there any real difference between a non power steering rack/column and a power steering rack/column? i dont want to install PS into mine, wanna keep it non PS. is there less/more turns lock to lock on one rack than the other? with any luck i wont need to swap columns/racks. mine doesnt seem too bad but theres a slight resistance at a certain point. only a little tho so could maybe un-bend it?

The ignition key swap is pretty easy.

Only issue is to drill out the magic little bolts that attach the key barrel to the steering shaft.

Regarding the column they are both the same. unless one is a tilt column and the other is not. Then there is a difference.

they managed to pop 3 big fuses under the hood. possibly some smaller ones too. they popped all 3 big fuses, a 40, 50 and 60 amp.
