Default Need to know how to fix

how do you fix or where do you fined your *intake air temperature sensor* my ECU is throwing that code and i dont know where its at or how to locate it and how to fix it how do i locate and fix???
all coments welcome

dont fix just up grade to a peformance intake and dont worry about it.

Upgrading your intake will not solve your problem. The IAT sensor is typically located in your rubber intake arm near the throttle body, or in 1 of the intake runners (usually cylinder 1) and is typically a white connector.

its on the intake manifold on the drivers side. its got two screws holding it in. search it on here and your probably get pictures. be carefull not to strip the screws. iv never replaced one but iv tried taking one off of a dpfi manifold and i stripped the screws to ****. but its pretty simple to replace. good luck.

ohh and what the best way to get a striped screw out turns out the the one on my IM all ready had it striped so i am trying to figure out how to get it out

Drill the head off, remove the sensor, then use your fingers or vice grips to spin the stud out.
