I blew my ba6a2 in my 97 civic HX. So heres what i am wanting to ask.

Ive been looking into the b20 vtec swap.

I want good pull/ torque, but ability to get some high hp maybe turbo in the future.

I heard somwhere there is a company selling b20/vtecs built for like 1600?

anyone know of a site that sells crate motors not jdm used but built ?

or anyone have a better engine built suggestion for my car type ?

 

buy a b18c block and send it to one of many shops that will build it for whatever you want to do

 

they make dart blocks wired for vtec that i think are good up to 1000hp maybe take a look into those.....i don't think they are too ridiculously priced either IMO its a good setup.......

the "beast" crate engines you are refering to are close to $12k. i dont know about you but that's rediculous.
