We are building a '91 Drag all motor CRX with a K24 motor on the Speed Scene Live net TV show. Check it out anytime at speedsceneracing.com and visit the archives page and the Hasport product review on the product review page. Also some photos on the racecar project page of the site.
Got the car in the fab shop right now getting the fuel cell, battery and a few thing handled, but will get it soon and start laying some paint down.
After that, we start the final assembling!

seems that a lot of people in here have k series swaps. but i never seem to hear about their 1/4 time on street driven cars. what kind of times are everybody running. i have seen some car run to 12sec and as slow as 14sec on k20 swap.

yeah **** pissed me off because it's set automatically so don't forget to turn it off before you hit the track unless you bring your laptop with you, i was launching at 6k because of that ****, though i still hit a 12.3, but couldve broke in to the 11s!

It really depends, street driven depends on how you define it.. If it can be driven on the street.. it is street driven.. lol especially in states out east where it is easy to pass visual inspection, you can get away with murder.
On street tires BFG, inlinepro went 10.9 with their civic.. That is the best on street tires that I recall... around flat 12 is feasible with a decent K motor, tires and a good driver and tune... of course you are going to have people that can run 14s and people that will run 11.5 on a street driven car..
One of the problems when generalising like this is that people tend to take it to heart... since he went xx with his y motor and z car, I can do the same since I have the same parts... It doesn;t work like that. Driver skill, track condition, alighment, tune, tires, elevation, weather are major factors of the outcome. I am sure you know this already, just thinking out loud... because while I roam the internet... I often come across to posts like "K series swap are a waste of time.. this local dude went 15.3 in the 1/4.. " thus all k series swaps are slow... lol
