Injector help please!
I have a H22A1 that recently blew a hole in my engine block. I now am replacing it with a H23A, and my question is how do you know whether your injectors are low impedence or high impedence. I am unsure of the year of my engine, I assume it is an OBD2 so there is a chance I may not need the resistor box. Please help!

Do you have a 4th gen? If you do then you are ok.
1992-'96 Prelude Non-VTEC Peak and Hold 240cc
1992-'96 Prelude VTEC Peak and Hold 345cc
1997-up Prelude VTEC H22 Saturated 280cc

okay, im sorry i should have elaborated. i put an american spec 95' h22a1 dohc vtec in my 93 civic. i blew a piston out the block. now i am replacing it with a j-spec h23a dohc vtec, unsure of the yeah, and unsure if it is obd1 or obd2.
I hope you got a obdII wiring harness...
I wish I knew just by looking at a motor if it is obdI or II. Have you thought about using the h22's injectors and keeping the resistor box....I don't know which one I'd do. I'm just throwing ideas out there.

well i want to use the injectors that came with the engine, at which point i am unsure of what they are. obd2 were 265's high impedence. that means i can use my gsr ecu, and not throw an injector code. but the older ones, the ones that i just pulled out of my old engine, were low impendence, and had a higher flow rate, 345. should i not wire in the resistor box and use the 265 on my p13, or should i wire in the resistor box with the 345s?
265? Weren't the stockers for the obdII 290? How far is that going to push those 265s? I'm a noob as far as duty cycle goes. I've never looked into it.
If you have all the sensors and wiring for obdII and you're not going to do anything else with the car, I'd keep it obdII. Otherwise, spend the time now, and put that resistor box in with the 345s....make sure you tune those.
