Default aftermarket motor mounts(searched)

ok so i just got done reading about 7 or so posts about mounts. basically we have 2 options for real mounts(not the insert bullshit)...innovative and esp. i read that the innovative hat fitment issues due to incorrect sizings of the holes but that it was corrected since. i also read somthin about one of them(i dont remember which company) had a problem with the tranny mount fitting a jdm tranny properly? is that still a problem or has that been adressed too? finally can any1 give me any comparisons between the 2? which one fit better? stronger? which has less vibrations?

thanks in advance guys

We're in the same boat. I'm looking for mounts also. From what I've heard, they will both produce lots of vibrations. That's the only thing that's holding me back from buying them. I hope someone here has better information...

Now who told you that My Innovative mounts have less vibration than before I put them in (with ES inserts and a NRG damper). The car has a small vibration at idle that you just barely feel and that's about it.

I would personally get the Innovative over the Explicitspeed...

I'v got innovative mounts on my 4th gen! They are the only mounts available for our ludes right now, but worth it. Much stronger and eliminates the front mount. I had a bit of fitment issues because I have a Jdm swap. Tranny mount needed to tap new holes. usdm models should fit no problems. This is one mod that is by far worth paying for.
My girl likes it when my motor is stiff.....lol

This was actually not to difficult however I had the tranny already out, as I was puttin in a new clutch. But like i said, they are the only available for the prelude and so far I love them. Real firm stiffness with not too much vibration.

Innovative

Without the front mount, im looking to do a nice custom turbo setup.

Oh, I think I've seen that before. Some trannies have spots for holes to be tapped, they just aren't tapped yet. Probably easier than drilling the mounts out
