Default Aftermarket motor mounts?

I am curious as to what options are out there for complete aftermarket mount kits for the 4th gen H22 lude? If anyone has found any or has any experience with any please let me know!

Thanks

i have mine from inovative mounts, they come with the two sides and the rear mount. i know enjo is working on some or they have finished them im not sure. or if you want to go cheap on them you can get the es inserts.

Innovative is your only option right now. There's nothing else.

How do these mounts compare to stock? Any problems with deleting the front mount, using the Innovative mounts?

Much simpler design and MUCH stronger and stiffer. Fitment is not 100%, though on my set...I had to pry a little bit to get the bolts through.

These mounts are definately strong enough to ditch the front mount.

Thank you for chiming in, I'll have to look into a set the next time my stock mounts go kaput.

Has anyone else had fitment issues like Hawkze?

if you knew anything, you would know that hasport doesnt have any for the lude. Now go back to school.

Do you think those Mounts would work on a 5th gen?

I'v got innovative mounts on my 4th gen! They are the only mounts available for our ludes right now, but worth it. Much stronger and eliminates the front mount. I had a bit of fitment issues because I have a Jdm swap. Tranny mount needed to tap new holes. usdm models should fit no problems. This is one mod that is by far worth paying for.
My girl likes it when my motor is stiff.....lol

^aww is that why ppl have fitment problems?

garn (another member) had them and said the fitment was horrible. something about a crossmember hole.

anyways, heard good things about innovative. you can always make your own mounts, buy some new oem mounts and fill in with polyurethane.

but other than that, there are few options for preludes

Do the poly inserts actually have a big affect on reducing engine movement?

I also have a JDM h22 and would rather not deal with making new holes on something that I would be paying close to 300 for.

on the JDM trannys you need to tap new holes in the tranny, not the mounts themselves. This was actually not to difficult however I had the tranny already out, as I was puttin in a new clutch. But like i said, they are the only available for the prelude and so far I love them. Real firm stiffness with not too much vibration.

Innovative

Without the front mount, im looking to do a nice custom turbo setup.

i didn't know there was a difference in the usdm/jdm tranny bracket?

looking to get some innovatives soon, but still kinda holding out for someone to answer my prayers and make something out of some billet.

http://www.passwordjdm.com/pro...D=467 says "Replacement Mount Kit for 1992-1996 BB4 Preludes. Designed to fit all H and F-series motors."

so does this mean they WILL or will NOT fit H23's??

It says it will fit all H series engines....you used the 'H' key on your keyboard when you typed H23 so yes, it will work.
