swap question yOoOOooOoOOoOoOO
if youre goign to just leave a swap out for about a year should you fill the motor and tranny with new fluid or drain the entire thing??? or does it not matter?
uhm..i would just drain the fluids and make sure to add new fluids before you start it up...i heard something about motor getting stuck or something if you dont start it for a while, so just to be on the safe side, i would manually crank it a bit once in a while via pulley just to be on the safe side...
ok let me get this stright....
your planning to do a swap in a year? and your wondering if u should still do the engine/tranny oil change untill u do the swap?
OR
your about to do the swap and your planning to put the old engine aside and re-use it later on so u were wondering if u should still change the engine/tranny oil on the engine thats NOT sittin in the car??
sorry i cant really understand what engine your tryin to say when u sayin doin oil change.. but i could get really bad for the motor when u don't do oil change for along time and just drive it the way it is.... ive seen post when ppl did n oil change after like a year later when they removed the drain plug and they started seeing small pice of metal comin out along with the oil...

Thats what im getting out of the thread. If thats true then leave oil in your car and once a week rotate the assembly.
