#7 or #8 - at least 1 heat range colder.

BKR7E-11 (copper) or PFZR7G-11 (platinum) both NGK plugs

i would worry about breaking in the rings/bearings properly first

stock should be fine - i've tried plugs one temp range cooler and they run like crap until the motor warms up

The stock euro plug is #7 with 11.1 compression. Maybe you need #8....

PFR is full platinum
BKR VX series is platinum coated copper electrode

both are "laser tip" which I find works better

Does anyone have the Bosch or Denso crossreference for these plugs?

Thanks

I think the Denso #7 heat range is #22, but I could be wrong.

I'm wondering would copper or platinum be a better choice for performance? From what I know, copper conducts better but doesn't last as long. Platinum I thought was used mainly for it's longevity. However we are not the type to wait until the 60k interval to change plugs anyway so why not use copper for better conductivity?

Say for a tuned B18C5 motor with stock internals, would the NGK BKR6EVX11 be a good replacement? What about the full copper V-type BKR6E-11? I'm also concerned because laser tip plugs aren't gappable and if I order some from sparkplugs.com and the gaps happen to be off I have to go through the hassle of returning and waiting etc.

So any further insight on the copper vs. platinum and v-type vs. laser tip? I did a forum search, and came up pretty empty.
