Default Setting Timing on B16

Ok i put the cams at up and the 2 lines match up and I put it at TDC, I set it to the middle line. Now i the crank shaft counterclockwise 3 teeth and tighten the tensioner bolt.

Ok when i do that now the crank shaft is set on the 4th line. is that right or am I doing it the wrong way?

ok you see the group of 3 lines and it is set on the line far above that.

that sinlge line is your TDC mark. the three notches are 14 16 18 degress after top dead center. as long as your single line matches the cover and your cams are both UP then your good
