Default Thermotec wrap Good or bad Idea??

My SP log manifold is real close to my AC lines, and the dumptube is going to be touching the lines. The downpipe is also basically touching the charge piping should i wrap the mani/downpipe/dumptube?

Yes I would wrap the downpipe to keep the heat away from the charge pipes.

I wrapped my manifold, downpipe, AC lines, oil feed line, oil return line and got a turbo blanket for the turbo.

Heat wrap = good idea

The only issue with heat wrap, is it basically will speed up the the life longevity of a manifold, since your trapping in the heat. It also will trap moisture in, which is never good, but its more of the manifold not being able to breath.

I used the heat wrap and silicone coating on my manifold and just heat wrap on my downpipe and dumptube.

It really helps with underhood temps.

I think it's definately worth it. I'll take all the heat reduction I can get. lol

I don't know about places that snow but I live in FLA, I rocked the heat wrap for 8 months on my exhaust, I took it off to re-wrap it, no rust.
